You have straight beliefs
a clear mind on what you want
then they come, like thieves
and try to break that bond
they want to tear that connection
try to make you think like them
so you hold no objection
when they bring their request again
they claim it's all affection
they're looking out, care
about holding together your connection
but your heart drops and you find it unfair
starting to question where is their respect
what can be their true intentions
and in a few years what could you expect
when their words feel like poison injections
your heart and mind are tore in two
do you run to them and what they believe
or do you stay true to what you always knew
and tell them they can leave
