Think, Then Say

You may think something so simple can't cause pain
but i wanna let u know, you're totally wrong
sometimes these things that seem so plain
are the things that leave wounds lasting for long.

Perhaps a person called stupid in his youth days
has had that in his mind, always trying to get rest.
Now he's grown-up taking life his own way
but one person can bring back those memories and his mind infest.

You may think that them getting upset is silly
but you can't judge with no knowledge of their past.
"I'm hurt" to you also sounds silly
but in their hearts you've left a bruise that will last.

Just throwing out whats on your mind
not knowing the damage that can come with those words.
To their pain you're so deaf and blind
as you bring out one after another sword.

Why can't you just think before you say
that perhaps these words can strike hard.
Better keep it in and don't say
something YOU think they'll disregard.

Love Is Painful

So here i am torn apart
but this time it was because of you
you stabbed me in the heart
and left me wounded, not knowing what to do.

I would never think you had it in you
the ability to talk back like you did
but i guess it's my fault too
should've seen it coming when i asked what i did.

You know how to fight back, you're strong
enough to start an argument anytime.
Thought it wasn't in you, but I was wrong
too good to be true, guess it was my time..

Besides all this, the way you feel worries my brain
putting your feelings over mine in every case
and taking on all necessary pain
to once again see that smile on your face.

My friend says you don't deserve me
that i should move on and leave you
but i told her that cant be
because no matter what I still care and love you.

Stop Pretending

You brag about all these people you know
so much that people tell you to slow.
Yet when the attention leaves your side
with tears you whisper what you hide.

You say you can't come and learn
you've got plans and time to earn.
Yet when you bring back a photo or two
the only person there is you.

You say they tell you secret things
and soon it'll come down to everything
yet when life feels like hell
you've got no one to tell.

You break a smile and say you're fine
but you tend to always leave out the main line
how to them you're only the puppet kind
and just to feel wanted, you don't mind.

Stop, take it as a fact
this is no more than a deceiving act.
You say you know the world
but about that, the world don't know a word.

Nothing else matters to me!

Struggling in school to keep my mind in place
when I can't help but think of you in that horrifying place.
Can't believe something like this can happen to you,

But I hope they're treating and feeding you well

For seeing you cry cuts like a blade.
